Collier

Hallo zusammen,

es war so viel los in den letzten Wochen, ich komme zu nichts mehr, jedenfalls nicht zu den wichtigen Sachen wie meine Perlen. Heute möchte ich Euch mein neues Collier zeigen. Die Cabochons habe ich aus Fimo gemacht. Ich habe keine Ahnung, wann ich dieses Teil tragen werde, vielleicht zur nächsten Teeparty bei der Queen. *lol*

Time flies and I had only a little time for the important things of life like my beads. Today I would like to show you my new necklace with Cabochons of Polymer Clay. I don't know when I will wear this, possibly it fits for the next tee party with the queen. *lol*.

Raku Anhänger/Raku Pendant

Hallo zusammen,

zuerst einmal wünsche ich Euch allen Frohe Ostern und geruhsame Feiertage.

Ich hatte mir bei Marianne einen Raku Cabochon bestellt. Er ist wunderschön und ich wollte ihn gleich verarbeiten. Es war für mich eine Herausforderung, denn der Raku ist wirklich groß und auch unterschiedlich dick. Und es war gar nicht so einfach, passende Farben zu finden, denn der Raku hat nicht "meine" typischen Farben und normalerweise trage ich nur Silberschmuck. Die kleinen Quadrate im unteren Teil habe ich aus Fimo gemacht und mit Acrylfarbe bemalt. Der Anhänger ist riesig geworden, 13 cm lang. Dieses Mal habe ich kein Lederband verwendet, sondern Perlen als Kette aufgezogen.

First of all I wish you all Happy Easter, have relaxed days. I ordered a Raku Cabochon with Marianne. It is really beautiful and I wished to bead something with it immediately. This was a challenge for me as it is really a huge cabochon with different thickness also. The little quadrates below I made out of Polymer Clay and lacquered with acrylic paints.  And it was not easy to find matching colors, as the Raku has not "my" typical colors. Normally I only wear silver jewelry. This pendent is really huge, 13 cm long. This time I did not use a leather tape but used beads for the necklace.

Embroidery Armband/Pendant "Flurry"

Heute möchte ich Euch meinen neuesten Embroidery Anhänger zeigen. Ich habe ihn in Hematite, Silber und Violett gemacht. Oben habe ich einen Metallknopf aufgeklebt, die Drops unten sind aus Fimo. Er ist recht groß geworden, daher habe ich auf Fransen etc. verzichtet , ihn nur mit Drops umrandet und ihn an einem  schlichten Lederband befestigt.

Ich nenne den Anhänger „Flurry“, weil ich total planlos und chaotisch gestickt habe. Der Stress und die Hektik der letzten Wochen sind irgendwie in die Perlen geflossen.  Zwischendurch habe ich gedacht…..nee, das geht gar nicht….aber jetzt gefällt er mir.

Today I would like to show you my new embroidery pendant I did in hematite, silver and violet. I used a metal button and made the Drops out of Polymer Clay.  It became more voluminous than planned hence I did it without a fringe etc., surrounded it with drop beads only and connected it to a simple leather tape.

I call this pendant “Flurry” as I beaded completely without any plan and I was very restless all the time while doing it. The last weeks  at work were very chaotic and hectic and these feelings also flew in this embroidery piece. In between I thought…no, you can’t do it this way and show this  to anybody…but as it was finished I thought it’s looking ok and I will show it.

Passion

Hallo zusammen,

mein zweites Embroidery Armband ist fertig. Und ich habe zum ersten Mal ein bißchen mit Fimo rumgespielt. Das Centerpiece sollte "shabby" aussehen und ich habe mal die Farben von meinem alten Hobby, dem Scrappen rausgekramt und ein bißchen mit den Acrylfarben, Distress Inks und Patina-Puder rumgematscht. Das Armband wirkt.....sagen wir mal im Ganzen etwas rustikaler, aber mir gefällt es.
Ich nenne es "Passion", weil ich meine Leidenschaft in Sachen Schmuck entdeckt habe - Embroidery.

My second embroidery bracelet is ready. And I tried to play with Polymer Clay the first time. I wanted the centerpiece to look shabby and I used all my colors of my former hobby, Scrapbooking like Acrylic Paints, Distress Inks, Patina. This bracelet is a little "rustic" but I like it. I call it "Passion" because I recognized that Embroidery is my passion.

Und ja ich weiß....aber ich mußte einfach mal mit dem Photoprogramm und den Rahmen rumspielen.
